My name is Gergely Tóth and I'm mainly a programmer with some added responsibilities here and there. I've been working on the backend at a bank for most of my career, residing in Central Europe. Albeit I don't get paid for them, I enjoy reading, cooking and collecting experiences.

My interests are mostly centered around tech and finance. With half a decade of professional experience I now know enough to understand that I know nothing.

What is this site about?

Starting a blog has been on my mind for a good couple of years and I always imagined that it would contain articles with a singular focus and an overall goal.

I couldn't decide on just one.

Deep dive into programming quirks I find fascinating

Present financial topics for programmers and convince them that it's almost as interesting as programming

Write about the world around as a respite from the professional life. Use it to improve writing style, learn cadence and be mindful about word choice

All of the above. Learn everything

These topics are most likely going to be the focus. I do reserve the right to write about something random once or twice.

Sometimes I'll start a sentence blog and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way.
